Hunger Games ♥
Alright so I hope everyone had the Merriest of Christmas I know I certainly did. I got some really cute new shirts and a new hoody and some coconut body spray and money LoL. And I got the Hunger Games Trilogy. Now I definetly recommend these books to anyone who wans a real page turner. It has romance fighting, and a bunch of other stuff that is totally amazing :) and the movie is coming out in march yay!! So now I hav a bunch of stuff to post on the Hunger Games

ReplyDeleteAnd then there's that AWESOME moment when all three of us got the series and have only read the first one before getting them :P But I read the second one and part of the third one in the last couple days. I never want to put those books down when I have to! I'm not so excited for the movie tough. I never am when they make books I've read into movies and I'm not particularly pleased with the casting. Of course, all I've really seen so far of the movie is that preview, but I don't really think that girl really convinces me into believing that she's really Katniss Everdeen. Same with Peeta. Peeta has been my favourite character since I read the first one months ago and I don't like that actor playing him only because I've seen him in other movies and I don't think it will be easy for me to think of anything else, but the other characters he's played while I'm watching him attempt my Peeta. As for Cinna, I imagined him completely different! So, really, I'm not sure how I feel about them making this movie. But as far as Effie, Haymitch, Prim, and Gale go, I'm satisfied with the casting there. :)
ReplyDeletemiss moon whisper i loved the 1st book and have started the 2nd one now the 1st book wuz very intriging i thought the romance wuz the most amazing part in the whole book,although it wuz most the book lol. Anyways I feel in love with peeta the moment he first came into the book...the boy with the bread ♥ and katniss oh how i love every bit of her temper and the romance again i say sigh...and the taylor swift song you posted i have listened to so many times as ive read the 2nd book and i think they will play it in the credits or in the movie between rues death and the cave scene im sure.
ReplyDeleteAnd miss bellvance im afraid you could not be more wrong! josh hutcherson will portray peeta very well i too have seen him in other movies and he can stretch his acting abilities quite well so he can pull off the sweet innocent love struck peeta. and ive read your blog and see that you love the harry potter books and movies and they were books 1st. Thanks for posting the info on the movie coming up caitlin and i hope to hear from you about what you think on the 2nd book

ReplyDeleteI disagree. I don't like Josh playing Peeta. I'm not saying he's a bad actor, I just would have preferred someone I've never seen in other movies before so I can view him as Peeta and no one else. As for the Harry Potter thing, I only started reading the books after they had already made the first 5 movies, so I was much more used to the movies than I was the books at first and that is why I was okay with it. Although, there were still a lot of things about the movies that I didn't like. :)

ReplyDeleteyes i think if they had a bunch of new actors playing the charactors in this movie it would be good but josh is not a well known actor yet and he was younger in his other movies. im hoping they will keep to the books when doing this movie i hate it when they change it up too much. even thought that seemed to work with narnia changing it up lots.
